Reviving one of the oldest wineries in the Yarra Valley, St. Hubert’s.

Before starting the design process, we took a deep dive into the history of the brand. Originally founded in 1862, there was nearly 200 years of history to reference. To our luck, the St. Hubert’s team had kept a collection of bottles ranging from the 1800-1900s. We used the original wine labels to create a foundation for the letterforms within the re-designed wordmark. We also emulated distinct brand elements from the brand’s history, such as the roof painting on one of the original property sheds, to give the final identity its character.

A label shape that echoes the new cellar door architecture

The new cellar door location, designed by Cera Stribley Architects, was built into the land of the vineyard plot. We used this building shape to create a unique diecut label for the entire range.
