Founded in Australia yet rooted in gin-making traditions, Hickson House sources ingredients from across the state and country, often grown exclusively for them. With a deep respect for history, environment, and future, they distill the best that the land offers.

The distillery is situated in the heart of The Rocks in Sydney, near the landmark Harbour Bridge. It is housed in the historic Metcalfe Bond Building which stored goods from around the world and was built between 1912-1916. The steel girders supporting this iconic building are the same used in the construction of the Harbour Bridge.

I joined the project after the packaging was designed and was tasked with creating a comprehensive brand system for the team to use across the distillery. This included designing type lockups, curating a photography style based on different brand pillars (ingredients, Australian location, traditions in craft cocktail making), and proposing templates for their social media, website, menus, cards, signage and more. Inspired by the distillery's unique location and heritage, I brought the brand's philosophy to life through a brand world that honors their commitment to quality and tradition.
